Labelling & Identification

Martket maintains both a Canadian Identification Number (CA Number) and a Registered Identification Number (RN Number), enabling us to properly identify our company on textile products sold in Canada and the United States. These registrations support compliance with textile labelling regulations and demonstrate our commitment to responsible manufacturing, sourcing, and product traceability.

In Canada, our CA Identification Number is issued by the Competition Bureau and may be used in place of a manufacturer’s or dealer’s name on textile labels as permitted under the Textile Labelling Act and Textile Labelling and Advertising Regulations. In the United States, our Registered Identification Number (RN) is issued by the Federal Trade Commission and serves the same purpose under U.S. textile labelling requirements.

These registrations allow Martket to identify itself as the responsible company on qualifying textile products while supporting consistent labelling across North American markets. Combined with fibre content, country of origin, and care information, they help ensure products meet applicable regulatory requirements before entering the marketplace.
